So, you will not be surprised to learn that the residents of the city love nothing better than to enjoy a night at the opera. Tickets tend to sell out quite fast, so it is always wise to book well in advance.

Rome is full of art galleries. All of which are worth a visit. Or, you could simply opt to stay in a hotel that is full of works of arts. There are several in Rome. For those who do mind the macabre a visit to The Capuchin Crypt is a must. This small crypt is located underneath the church of Santa Maria della Concezione dei Cappuccini. It is full of monk’s bones, which have been arranged into bizarre sculptures and murals. A stunning, if slightly creepy, sight, which is well worth experiencing.
