La Fortuna Waterfall – La Fortuna, Costa Rica
La Fortuna Waterfall is one of the many natural features that make La Fortuna an attractive destination for travelers and adventurers. The waterfall is located about 5.5 kilometers from the town, hidden in a lush green environment. The fall has a drops about 70-75 meters and is located at the base of the dormant Cerro Chato Volcano. Once at the base of the fall, feel free to dip into the water a swim in this unspoiled natural environment.

Thanks you Sofia! Yes, you should go there… this a must do when in La Fortuna, Costa Rica. The waterfall is really impressive and what’s great is that it is enclosed in its own canyon, so you feel like you are really deep into the forest. I loved swimming there, it’s a thrill having such a strong waterfall right next to you.
