Reformed Church Cemetery – Flatbush, Brooklyn
This snapshot was taken with my iphone after last week’s blizzard in New York City.
The winter’s first mayor snowfall arrived the day after Christmas as an unexpectedly fierce blizzard that dumped over 20 inches of snow on a woefully unprepared city. For the next three days, everything that could go wrong did go wrong, making it one of the worst snow storms in the past few decades – strong enough to almost shut down non-stop New York City. But, among the chaos of a city looking to reestablish its heartbeat, there were a few serene places where the snow was simply… peaceful!

I swear, snow can make anything beautiful!
So true! One of snow’s magical powers!
I love this line: “But, among the chaos of a city looking to reestablish its heartbeat, there were a few serene places where the snow was simply… peaceful!”
Nice
I agree with Lindsay, snow does make everything beautiful. Can I ask with which Iphone the picture is taken?
Hey! I used an iPhone 3G.
I’m a big fan of iPhone photography. Great shot!
My iPhone is FULL of random pictures. I love to shoot at everything I find interesting, but since I don’t carry a camera all the time, my iPhone is there to the rescue!
Thanks Leslie!
